Scope
The conversation of T intersection into a new 3 leg Roundabout was constructed under live traffic conditions at the intersection of SH30/33. Full depth existing pavement excavation was required for this project down to get to new subgrade levels and tie into the existing bridge, from here geogrid and geocloth was used in conjunction with subgrade improvement layers to provide a stable base for our pavement. Subbase layer was a stabilised granular layer followed by structural asphalt for the base course construction.
Traffic Management / Service relocation / Retaining / Guardrail / Line Marking and Concrete works were also delivered through this project.
