Scope
MS Civil have delivered a range of projects for the NZTA across the central North Island. These projects have included:
- Gabion works on the Desert Road, Underslip repairs including drainage and precast concrete retaining blocks on SH41 near Turangi
- Overslip repairs on SH31 towards Kawhia involving steep slope excavations
- Underslip repairs on SH31 towards Kawhia involving a timber retaining wall and pavement rehabilitation
- Underslip repairs on SH31 near Kawhia Harbour within the tidal zone plus pavement rehabilitation
- Underslip repairs on SH23 near Glentui involving a design and construct MSE wall solution.

Rotokauri Rise
MS Civil constructed the road and intersection connecting Rotokauri to Te Rapa, including subbase, basecourse, and 2500T of asphalt laid in multiple layers to M10 specification.

Hospital Hill Retaining Wall
MS Civil constructed a 180m retaining wall on SH43 using encased piles, with traffic control, drilling, anchors, and concrete works, alongside groundwater management and pavement.

Taupo Roundabout
In May 2024, MS Civil completed the surfacing of the Wairakei roundabout in Taupō, including chipsealing and 430 tonnes of asphalt paving with minimal traffic disruption.

Rotorua Roundabout
MS Civil converted the SH30/33 T-intersection into a 3-leg roundabout, including pavement excavation, subgrade stabilization, and asphalt base course with service relocation and line marking.
